With 2024 coming to a close, it’s time to take a look at iFanzine’s Top 3 Roblox Games Of The Year! I’ll go through my favourites who take the spot, and tell you a little bit about them. Of course, these are all my personal preferences, so keep that in mind. However, I do hope my opinions will sway you into checking them out, I’ve picked some good ones!
Fisch
Fisch has completely consumed my life… I’m not joking. People say they count sheep to sleep… I count fish! Jokes aside, although a simple concept, fish is all about fishing. You travel around the different islands to catch the fish that are available there. Each creature has preferences, such as some only appearing at certain times or seasons.
There are tons of rods to collect as well as a variety of boats to sail the seas in. I love playing with my friends and fishing together. I’ve even made some friends as I’ve been online! The soundtrack is lovely and I love the excitement of not knowing what you’ll fish up next.
Dress To Impress
One of the classics! Dress to Impress is one of the most popular games on the Roblox platform, and for good reason. Your goal is to, well, dress to impress. At the start of the game, you are given a theme, and you have a few minutes to walk around and make the perfect outfit. Customize hair, skin, makeup, nails, and clothes.
Once the timer is up, it’s time to hit the runway! Players take turns showcasing their creations, and everyone else gets to vote out of 5 stars. If you’re with friends, you can play as a duo. However, it’s just as fun playing solo! Dress to Impress also has regular events, and I loved the Halloween Event this year. Who would have thought there would be a boss fight in a dress-up game?
Devas Of Creation
The moment I played this game, I felt like I was playing a mix of The Legend of Zelda and Rune Scape. First released in the summer of 2024, Devas of Creation is an MMORPG fantasy-style game where you can explore vast lands (that are wonderfully animated), fight monsters, explore dungeons, craft items, fish (I really have a thing for fishing!), and obtain loot.
I love fantasy as a genre, as well as being able to take things at my own pace and explore the map. There also isn’t the added pressure of needing to reach the end game. As yes, I will admit, I’m the person who gets distracted by side-quests and forgets why I’m actually playing. Devas of Creation has so many things to do, so you can enjoy a bit of everything!
