To roll or not to roll, that is the question. My Abyssdia Reroll Guide explains what rerolling is, how to do it, and whether it’s worth it. I’ve also given some suggestions for the best characters to summon, if you do feel the need to reroll.
Abyssdia is available to play via the App Store. To help you work out which characters are worth summoning, I have an Abyssdia Tier List that ranks everyone. I also have a post going through all of the available Abyssdia Codes and how to redeem them.
Abyssdia Reroll Guide
Rerolling is a game mechanic used in gacha games that is a great way to guarantee you obtain your desired character. However, it does have its cons if you decide to do it.
How to Reroll
- Download Abyssdia and launch the game.
- Play through the beginner tutorial and redeem any in-game rewards and available codes, as you may get more summons.
- Perform your pulls from the banner. If you get someone you wanted, you can continue gameplay as normal. Make sure to sign up and make an account using an email if you haven’t already.
- However, if you don’t get someone you want, you can reroll. If you signed up with a guest account, you need to uninstall the game, reinstall it, and then start again. Or, if you used an email, delete your account and head to the in-game settings.
- Repeat these steps.
Do I Need To Reroll?
Not at all, and I don’t recommend you reroll. Rerolling can become very time-consuming, especially if you need to do it multiple times. If you don’t get the character you wanted at the start, you can work on upgrading them and leveling them up instead.
Eventually, you will obtain a meta unit. You can’t become the best straight away! Take who you have and upgrade them while you save up on summons to use later on.
Who Should I Summon?
If you did decide to reroll, I suggest aiming to summon higher rarity characters, as they tend to be better. My tier list above ranks each character from best to worst, which you can use to help you decide who you should summon.
I suggest aiming to get Carlacerin, Sien, Phosphorus, or Fate. They are currently some of the strongest units available and will make great additions to your team.
Frequently Asked Questions
No, you don’t. After you perform your initial summons, you can simply continue with gameplay as normal. Rerolling can become time-consuming, especially if you need to do it multiple times. I suggest you stick with who you get.
Each reroll can take around 15 to 20 minutes, which adds up if you need to keep doing it! It’s not worth the time, and as I said, you’ll likely get someone better as you naturally progress.
