Alto’s Adventure is, without a shadow of doubt, one of my favorite iOS games ever. So when I received an email from developer Snowman announcing that a sequel — Alto’s Odyssey — is on its way in 2017, you can imagine my excitement. I believe the technical term for the sound I made when I clicked open the press release is “squee!”
Apparently, the folks at Snowman have been working on ideas for this game since before the original was even released. But aside from that interesting nugget of info, they’re staying pretty tight-lipped on specifics about Alto’s Odyssey at this point. I guess us fans will just have to make do with the beautiful teaser image that was unveiled on Twitter and to the press. It shows off what looks to be a new in-game environment silhouetted against the backdrop of a pastel-hued sunset. Check it out:
