Anime Card Battle Tier List – Abilities Included!

With so many cards in the game, it can be tough to know which ones are best. Luckily, our Anime Card Battle Tier List ranks the rarest cards in the game, and lists their abilities – so you know which to roll for!

Anime Card Battle Tier List

S-Tier

These are the best cards in the deck!

  • Moonlight Guardian (Galaxy) – Damage taken is reduced by 20% of your max HP.
  • Wandering Samurai (Manga) – After dealing damage to an opponent, seal their ability.
  • Cursed Gambler (Event) – 50% chance to heal back the damage dealt to your card.
  • Black Swordman – (Eclipse) – Deals x3 damage to all opponents.

A-Tier

Although not as good as S-Tier, cards in this tier are still great to have.

  • Null (Galaxy) – On entry, make your opponent attack their next card. 
  • Flicker God (Infinite Tsukiyomi) –  Opponent has a 25% chance to attack themselves.
  • Sacred Heart (Manga) – Reduces damage by 30%. It also heals 35% of the damage taken.
  • Dark Matter (Boss) – Recover 50% HP then deal 20% of the opponent’s attacks to the entire target deck.
  • King of Curses (Boss) – Your second attack will take 20% of your enemy’s HP.
  • Phantom Edge (Manga) – Whenever you are attacked, perform a counterattack.
  • Frosty Fighter (Snow) – 50% chance to freeze your opponent for a turn.

B-Tier

If you’re a beginner, these cards are great!

  • Ice Princess (Snow) – Freeze the opponent’s card for two turns when this card dies.
  • Returner (Isekai) – 50% chance to revive at full HP.
  • Slug Medic (Event) – Heal 10% of your card’s health each turn.
  • Slug Medic (Special) – Heal 10% of your cards HP each turn.
  • Rogue Ninja (Infinite Tsukiyomi) – Applies an undying burn to your target.
  • Candy Fiend (Special) – After defeating an opponent, heal your card by 25% of their HP.
  • Cifer (Boss) – Deal half of your opponents damage to the next card.
  • Power Candy (Special) – Boost DMG by 20% and reduce HP by 30% on Entry.
  • Galactic Tyrant (Boss) – Opponents HP and ATK will drop by 10% after an attack.
  • The Alchemist (Sandstorm) – Converts half of your health into an attack.
  • Super Idol (Special) – Increase stats of supported cards by 20% on Entry.
  • Shark Skin Swordsman (Ice) – Health recovers by half of the damage dealt.
  • Heroic Traitor (Infinite Tsukiyomi) – When defeated, this card comes back with half of its health .
  • Wicked Weaver (Boss) – Your target card is stunned for one turn.

C-Tier

This is where things go a little downhill. Although these give you a few good skills, they aren’t great long-term.

  • Wooden Log (Special) – 10% chance to dodge an attack
  • Lucky Charm (Special) – Prevents Status Effects from activating on your card for 2 Turns
  • Water Hashira (Ice) – Deal less damage than the enemy. It also doubles your damage
  • Shadow Strategist (Special) – Seal opponent’s ability for 1 turn on entry
  • Water Bender (Ice) – Heals 15% of HP after an attack
  • The Fool (Sandstorm) – Deal 8% of the opponent’s max health
  • Ninja Vest (Special) – Boost HP by 10%
  • White Hawk (Eclipse) – Reduces the damage of the enemy by 25% on entry
  • Abyssal Monarch (Isekai) – Negate the opponent’s ability if they are weaker
  • Witch of Frost (Snow) – Freeze the opponent’s cards for one turn
  • Eternal Lich (ISsekai) – On entry, reduce your enemy’s health and damage by 25%

D-Tier

Only use these if you have no other choice.
