Sure crafting a team of goated units is essential, but building on your unit’s main skills with Traits is equally as important. My Anime Defenders Traits Tier List ranks every Trait from best to worst based on its buffs.
Traits offer perks to your units which you spin for randomly using Crystals within the summons room in the main lobby. Here, you can apply new buffers to your units to amplify their combat potential during waves.

S-Tier
OP! These Traits are the absolute best of the best and host huge potential for your units. You’ll notice a huge difference in their wave performance with these Traits.
- Almighty – 0.1% roll chance
- Critical 3 – 6% roll chance
- Midas Touch 1 – 7% roll chance
- Precision – 0.8% roll chance
A-Tier
Good, just not the best. These Traits are high-tier but don’t offer the absolute most. It’d be a gamble to reroll so I’d recommend giving them a try before risking a reroll!
- Brawler 3 – 7% roll chance
- Critical 2 – 6.1% roll chance
- Hunter 3 – 7% roll chance
- Requiem – 0.2% roll chance
- Sonic – 1% roll chance
B-Tier
Average Traits. You could risk a reroll, but these aren’t completely useless. They’re just… a bit niche.
- Brawler 2 – 7% roll chance
- Bullseye – 2.5% roll chance
- Critical 1 – 6.2% roll chance
- Hunter 2 – 7% roll chance
- Prodigy – 10% roll chance
- Swiftness 3 – 7% roll chance
C-Tier
These Traits are weaker than most but not the absolute worst. I’d recommend a reroll with caution as there are worse options beneath these Traits.
- Brawler 1 – 8% roll chance
- Hunter 1 – 7% roll chance
- Swiftness 2 – 7% roll chance
D-Tier
The worst of the worst Traits that do more harm than good. I would reroll immediately! Don’t settle for these Traits.
