What Our Tiers Mean

Now you know how good each unit is, you may be wondering what our tiers mean. I’ll give a quick rundown below if you need more help. Otherwise, start playing Anime Vangaurds and obtaining the units!

S- The meta units! These reign superior from the latest update and are must-haves. Although most of these are evolved versions, so they take longer to obtain, the grind to get them is worth it.

A- These will tide you over until you manage to obtain those ranked higher. Even then, the A-tier units are still great options and make for a solid backup. Don’t let the lower ranking put you off using them.

B- Sitting humbly in the average are the B-tier units. Don’t get me wrong, these aren’t terrible. However, they won’t help you progress far, nor will they defeat the tougher enemies you come across.

C- The stats and abilities these units have aren’t great. Although better than the D-tier, they still come out as slightly niche and weak in battle.

D- These characters are the weakest from the new update. They won’t help you much, so I suggest you stay away from them.
