BEAST: Bio Exo Arena Suit Team is an upcoming 3V3 Cosmic Shooter arcade-style game set to drop on Apple Arcade. It’s developed by Oh BiBi, a Paris-based game developing company who have published games like Dino Factory, LoL Kart, FRAG Pro Shooter and SUP Multiplayer Racing. BEAST will hit the Apple Arcade on February 1st.

It’s an action game in a sci-fi universe where you fight for the honour of your home planet. You get a bunch of funky animal characters rocking some seriously powerful mech suits. The catch is that each animal has two modes (read: personality). So, you can switch between the nimble PET (Pro Evolution Troopers) and the formidable BEAST forms. Â
The ‘lore’ is that you’ll travel to the future where cute baby animals are sent to space with super-advanced AI to save their species. After some hardcore training, they come back as mech-wielding protectors, ready to throw down in the BEAST Arena.

I feel like the biggest strength of the game is its characters. With over ten PETs to choose from, each form brings its own bag of tricks and weapons. You can even summon your BEAST for some extra firepower. And it’s not just the suits and gear that are colourful and vibrant, their personalities are quite vibrant, too.
You’ll meet Clyde, a cat and space smuggler turned hero, Nyx, a sharpshooting owl, Rusty, a warthog and ex-boxer turned mechanic, GG Nova, the eccentric unicorn, Patch, the fast-and-furry-ous wolf, Eugene, a biology researcher, Asha, a pint-sized dragon and more!
