So, who are the best? I’ve given my top two choices, as it’s only fair to have a runner-up, right? Remember, these are just my opinions, so it’s okay if you disagree! We all have different preferences in gameplay, and that’s okay.
Hikari
First up is Hikari! Let’s start with some basic information about her, then we’ll move on to why she is a meta character to have on your team.

So, what makes her so good? Her personality truly reflects how she is in battle, serious and diligent. As mentioned, her hobby is swordmanship, which adds to her case of being a meta. In battle, she wields her sword, which covers a large range, damaging anyone who comes close.
Shi
Now, onto the runner-up. This may be a slightly different opinion, but let me prove my case! Shi is a kind and warm character who loves to explore. However, don’t let the softness fool you, as in battle she wields a dagger, allowing her to get up close and damage enemies.
Hikari’s sword is long, meaning she doesn’t need to get too close, and she can be safer, as she’s further away. But Shi is all about melee damage. If you want to run headfirst into battle, Shi is the one for you. She also has a skill where she throws three blades forward into her opponent… ouch!
