Crazy Defense Heroes, Animoca Brands’ innovative tower defense title that runs a play-to-earn event every month, has just revealed the prize pool for November and December.
In case you’ve never come across it, Crazy Defense Heroes is a free-to-play mobile game in which you can earn an ERC-20 fungible utility token called TOWER by fulfilling certain criteria. You can then use these tokens to vote on an upcoming tower defense blockchain game features, buy NFTs, and more.
Before we get into all that, let’s take a look at the basic gameplay.
Crazy Defense Heroes sees you destroying waves of attackers with a range of towers, heroes, and skills. These attackers are fantastical in nature, so you’ll be cutting down minotaurs, dragons, orcs, and so on.
And you’ve got your own fantastical abilities. For example, you can imprison your enemies in blocks of ice, burn them to a crisp with dragon fire, and heal yourself with magic rain.
There are more than 400 Tower, Hero, Spell, and Equipment cards to collect, and you can combine these in countless ways to eke out a tactical advantage over your mindless, inexorable foes. All this takes place over more than a thousand levels, as well as boss fights, raids, and weekly challenges.
Plus, there’s a clan system that lets you chat, trade, and complete Clan Quests with your fellow players, adding a cooperative dimension to the game.
To win a share of the monthly prize pool, meanwhile, you’ll need to gain a minimum of 315,000 avatar XP before the end of the month – and for the next couple of months that prize pool is 1,200,000 TOWER tokens.
If you’ve never taken part in one of these events, here’s some advice: make a note of your XP when you set out, so that you know what number you’re aiming for. The amount of XP you have roughly corresponds to your level, of course, so you can go by that as well. This wiki will come in handy.
