Rolled a race and want to know if it’s cursed or based. Alright, I’ll stop being cringe, my Cursed Sea Races guide lists each species within Cursed Sea including character buffs and rarity.
Races aren’t the height of Cursed Sea, but they aid in your progress. Each race offers different buffs with some outperforming others. The best race within Cursed Sea will entirely depend on your playstyle and what benefits you want from a race. Do you prefer boosting something you lack in for statistical average? Or perhaps you want to overflow on buffs for something you excel in for maximum potency!

Cursed Sea Races
Let’s get into each of the races! Be sure to bookmark this page and check back in case more races are added, or current races experience updates which change their current stats.
Human
The default race with a 68% reroll chance.
- 20% extra stamina regen
- No cosmetic changes to the user
Waterborne (Fishman)
Inspired by the Fishman race from One Piece comes the Waterborne with a 10% roll chance
- Water damage is halved
- Travel significantly faster in water
- Backfin cosmetic
Demihuman (Mink)
The anthropomorphic race combines animals and humans. Has a 10% roll chance.
- +2 movement speed
- Offers multiple animal cosmetic variants
Heavenborne (Skypiean)
Heavenborne has a 5% roll rate.
- 5% extra health regen
- White wings on the user’s back cosmetic (Cannot fly)
Demonborne
The counterpart to Heavenborne, except significantly rarer with a 1% roll rate.
- 10% damage increase
- Horns cosmetic on the player’s head
Moonborne
The true counterpart to Demonborne, this race has a low roll chance sitting at 1%.
- 10% damage resistance
- Black wings on the user’s back cosmetic (Cannot fly)
