Death Stranding Director’s Cut To Share The Same Server As The Steam Version

The wait is nearly over! Death Stranding Director’s Cut is all set to land on iOS on January 30th. So, you’ll finally be able to play as Norman Reedus on your mobile device. It’s priced at $39.99, but you can snag it for $19.99 if you pre-order now!

As the game heads to Apple, Kojima Productions and 505 Games shared some exciting scoop.  The Mac and iOS versions will share servers with Steam and Epic, making sure Apple players can seamlessly connect with the Strand system for content sharing, likes and more. There’s also a limited edition Backbone One USB-C 2nd Gen controller tailored specially for Director’s Cut.

Death Stranding Director’s Cut includes exclusive content like a dangerous underground factory and more story missions. Additionally, gear up for nifty features like delivery assists with cargo catapults and a stabilizer function. Plus, there’s crossover stuff from Half-Life and Cyberpunk 2077. In Death Stranding Director’s Cut, you play Sam, a delivery guy. Your job is to deliver packages in the United Cities of America in a post-apocalyptic world. The settlements in the world are a unique blend of the living and the dead.

Over 50 hours, you’ll encounter spooky entities called Beached Things (BT), essentially 23rd-century ghosts stranded in the world of the living after the Death Stranding. Embark on a journey to unravel mysteries, while meeting intriguing characters, and delving into the history, present and future of the UCA.
