Devil May Cry: Peak of Combat Credits Casey Edwards for Its Theme Song Now Streaming Worldwide

Ahead of its official release, the upcoming mobile game Devil May Cry: Peak of Combat has launched a brand new promotional track that is now streaming globally on Spotify and Apple Music. Heavy metal composer Casey Edwards is credited for the track titled Fire Inside. His earlier compositions Bury the Light and Devil Trigger are considered iconic in the Devil May Cry fandom.

Once again in this track, Edwards flaunts his signature style. He uses a mix of heavy metal screams and scintillating vocals to invoke a feeling of urgency and desperation. With deep lyrics, powerful rhythms, and dynamic melodies, Fire Inside alludes to the unpredictable nature of fate. However, we are yet to find out whether the lyrics refer to Dante or Vergil.

Edwards is excited about his new release. He is sure that players will enjoy the theme song, whether they are new to the game or long-time fans of the franchise.

The developers wanted to use this track to give players a deeper understanding of the three protagonists Dante, Vergil, and Lady. The production team, on the other hand, wanted to simply give back to the Devil May Cry community after the resounding success of Edwards’ previous track Bury the Light, which has garnered over 100 million views on YouTube since its release.
