Dig It Fortune Shovel Guide
The Fortune Shovel is a great early to mid-game shovel. By no means the best, but it does have a great passive ability. I’ll get into that later!
Fortune Shovel Stats
First things first, here are the stats:
- Strength: 30
- Stamina loss: 10%
- Loot luck: 25%
- Preston: 45%
- Control: 45%
- Stability: 45%
- Max weight: 50000kg
Passive Ability
This shovel also has a passive ability. When using it, you will get a luck boost for every 5 digs. This will double your luck and increase the chance of finding something of a higher rarity, such as a legendary or mythic item.
How To Obtain
To get this shovel for yourself, you need to head to the Lunar New Year Island, which is located between Nookville and the Greek Temple. This is a limited-time island, and it will disappear on January 31st, 2025. That also means the Fortune Shovel will be gone too, so make sure you hurry and get it!
When you get to the island, you need to start digging until you get The Gift of Fortune, which is a purple box. You will find the Fortune Shovel inside of the box. It will appear at random, so all you can do is keep digging and hope you get it. To increase your chances, make sure to use a shovel that has higher luck.
The Toy Shovel is a good option, as it gives 30% luck. You can buy it in Nookville for 1.5k at level 5+. For those in later stages of gameplay, you can use the Glass Shovel which gives 40% luck and can be purchased from the Badlands for 30k at level 26+.
