Traits are used on swords and weapons to give special buffs or abilities, so they’re nifty to get hold of. Our Diverse Piece Trait Tier List ranks each from best to worst, so you know what to aim for.

- S-Tier: Shadow Clone
- A-Tier: Toxic Coating, Explosive Impact
- B-Tier: Lucky Strike, Chain Reaction
- C-Tier: Frost Touch
- D-Tier: Bounty Hunter
How to Get Traits
Getting traits is easy. All you need to do is head to the Trait Reroll NPC, who you can find at Wano Kuni. Here, you spin for traits, and you need Trait Rerolls to do this. You can obtain these from chests or from the gacha.
Keep in mind that if you reroll your trait, your previous one will be discarded. Make sure you think before you reroll!
What Our Tiers Mean
Stuck on what our tiers mean? I’ll go into more detail below.
S- The best, and the rarest, traits available. Although you need to be lucky to get these, they come with great abilities to make your build stronger.
A- A perfect backup option. If you’re hesitant to reroll, these are still great traits to use. They aren’t as powerful as the S-tier traits, but don’t let the lower ranking put you off.
B- The middle ground. These traits are nothing more than average. Use these while you stock up on trait Rerolls to get better.
C- C-tier traits have niche or underpowered abilities. If you have enough Trait Rerolls, I say try again.
D- These traits don’t offer much… I recommend rerolling.
