Duet Night Abyss Element Guide – Characters and Which Elements Work Together

Elements play a huge part in Duet Night Abyss, so you need to know how it works. Especially as depending on which Geniemon or Demon Wedges you have for your character can either boost or debuff the Duet Night Abyss Element your character has.

Duet Night Abyss Element Guide

Characters in Duet Night Abyss will have one of six elements, and they will deal damage related to that element when in battle. The element will also determine the bonus trigger they deal, with some elements even having additional effects.

Here are some key things to remember when it comes to which elements are strong and weak against each other.

  • Lumino and Umbro are not weak against other elements, but they are strong against each other.
  • Pyro, Anemo, Electro, and Hydro (in that order) have advantages against each other. So, Hydro has the final advantage over Pyro, and so on.

How Do Elements Work?

There are specific Geniemons and Demon Wedges that only buff certain elements. If you have a Geniemon that has a passive based on an element that is deployed with a character with a different element, that buff is ignored.

You need to be strategic with who you place and the elements that are involved, as they may cancel out. This is the same for Ascension Materials. Characters with a certain element will share these materials, so when farming, you need to select the element’s Ascension Materials that you are farming for.
