Gacha works slightly differently in Duet Night Abyss, so you may be wondering, can you reroll in Duet Night Abyss? I’ll talk you through how the Duet Night Abyss Reroll system works and how to unlock characters.
Can You Reroll in Duet Night Abyss?
In short, no. Not for characters anyway. Duet Night Abyss has changed the game when it comes to gachas. Normally, you pull characters from a banner. But now, the method of obtaining them is slightly different.
How To Unlock Characters
If there’s no gacha system, how do you unlock the different characters? There are multiple ways!
Quests
There are characters you can obtain by completing quests, and you will receive them as a reward when you finish them. Not only is this great for progressing in the game, but you’ll also get units. It’s a win-win situation.
Secret Letters
First, you need to get Secret Letter Clues, which you can get by completing most tasks in the game. For example, completing missions or quests. You need 10 of these Secret Letter Clues to buy 1 Secret Letter for a specific character.
If you don’t want to complete tasks or quests (although it’s recommended), you can also get Secret Letters by doing the Immersive Theatre or Nocturnal Echoes.
Covert Commissions
Completing the Covert Commissions can reward you with Thoughts, which you need to unlock a character. Each character requires 30 Thoughts before you can unlock them.
You can also get these Thoughts by using Secret Letters or purchasing them from the in-game shop. Once you have 30 Thoughts, go to the character selection screen and select the one you want.
Duet Night Abyss Reroll – Skins and Cosmetics
Although you can’t reroll for characters, there is still an element of gacha available, and that is for skins.
You can roll for skins in Duet Night Abyss, which are cosmetics you can wear in-game. If you’re someone who likes to collect in-game items, or you simply miss having the gacha element, you can get that when obtaining skins.
There are different banners you can pull from, giving you tons of chances to get your hands on a nice skin. I don’t recommend following usual rerolling methods, which include deleting your account if you don’t get the skin you want, as this is very time-consuming! Skins are cosmetic only, so if you don’t get one you wanted, it won’t make a difference to gameplay.
