How Does The Etheria: Restart Shell System Work? – Obtaining Shells, Rerolling Passives, and More!

Figuring out how the Etheria: Restart Shell System works is a tricky task. Luckily, our guide is here to break it down and explain how it works, how to get Shells, and all of the abilities available.

Start playing Etheria: Restart on the App Store. To find out which Shell is best, check out our Etheria: Restart Shell Tier List.

Etheria: Restart Shell System

Shells are the Etheria: Restart version of weapons. Once you equip one, you will get a special skill and buffs that improve your character’s abilities. Each Shell has a rarity, going from Rare, Unique, Epic, and Mythical. Shells also have a different class, which are Healer, Striker, Supporter, and Survivor.

How To Get Shells

At the moment, the best way to get Shells is by playing in the Grim Pursuit Mode. During this, you need to defeat 10 different bosses. The stronger the boss, the higher the rarity of Shells you will obtain once you defeat it.

Shell Passive Abilities

As I mentioned earlier, all of the Shells come with an ability. Each Shell can have up to 3 different passives. Despite a new Shell having 0, the more you Ascend and level it up, the more passives you can unlock. Depending on the slot the passive is in, it will determine the sort of ability it is.

  • Slot 1
    • Focuses on HP, DEF, or ATK.
  • Slot 2
    • Improves Crit Rate, Crit DMG, SPD, Healing Effect, Effect ACC, or Effect RES.
  • Slot 3
    • Ranges from an increase in DMG to element bonuses.
