Nomad Games, the developer behind the digital versions of the Games Workshop classic Talisman has released another big board game adaptation. This one’s based around Fury of Dracula and sees you trying to take down the evil count. Or taking on the role of the blood-sucker and trying to scupper your pursuers.
Based on the 4th edition of the game, this digital adaptation lets you experience the classic in a whole host of new ways. You can play on your own, team up with friends in the same room or take the hunt online. The choice is yours.
The game features a card-based battle system that’s built around bluffing and tactical choices. There is, quite frankly, loads going on here. Luckily there’s a comprehensive tutorial to play through that lets you get to grips with what’s what.
Whether you’re playing as the count and trying to deceive the other players or you’re teaming up to take down the great evil there’s a load of fun to be had here. Fury of Dracula is a bit of an unloved legend, and this digital version looks set to finally give it the attention that it deserves.
There’s a brilliant soundtrack, awesome animation and whole host more to discover here. This is a faithful adaptation that’s clearly been done with love. What more could you want from your digital board gaming than that?
