Gameloft has announced that it’s set to release Lego Star Wars: Castaways on Apple Arcade. The game mixes social interaction and block-building, wrapping everything up in a comfy, warm Star Wars blanket.
The game sees you crash-landing on a mysterious planet and joining together with other players to find the reason behind the corruption that’s spreading through it. You’ll build and customize your own character using different bricks, and take part in a bunch of different challenges.
You can race Microfighters, battle in the Hippodrome and jump into simulations in the Observatory. Those simulations span the entire Star Wars universe and let you experience a variety of iconic locations and events.
“We’re thrilled to bring players to the island of LEGO Star Wars: Castaways, exclusively on Apple Arcade,” said Lee Kaburis, Game Manager, Gameloft Montreal. “We wanted to create an experience in which fans can see themselves included in the beloved Star Wars stories and invite their friends and family along.”
“We took special care to include engaging features that encourage exploring together and joining forces to solve puzzles and quests, or challenging each other to quick battle rounds in the Hippodrome.”
Lego Star Wars: Castaways is set to launch on Apple Arcade next month, on November 19th. You’ll need an Apple Arcade subscription to play it though, obviously.
