A whole bunch of my all-time favorite iOS games are getting sequels at the moment. Monument Valley 2 recently hit the App Store, Framed 2 is just around the corner, and Alto’s Odyssey (aka Alto’s Adventure 2) is also on the horizon for a release later this year.
While the latter is probably still quite a few months away from release, there’s a new E3 video doing the rounds that shows off an extended look at Alto’s Odyssey’s gameplay in action. And wow! Even though the footage is from the game’s early alpha stage of development, this thing is already looking all kinds of awesome. I’m really digging the desert environment and all the new tricks that Alto has at his disposal, especially that nifty “wall riding” ability.
As I said above, Alto’s Odyssey is on track for a release sometime in 2017. In the meantime, keep an eye on the game’s official website for more info.
