This Unreal Engine 3-powered cover shooter puts players in control of a robotic soldier as he battles rival droids amid the rubble of a vast, war-ravaged cityscape. Highlights include action packed tactical gameplay, wonderfully intuitive swipe-based controls and, of course, breath-taking visuals. In a word: unmissable.
Evertales: “A beautiful game to look at, and a beautiful one to play as long as you’re in it for a neat character switch system that captures the spirit of some of the best classic platformers,” is how Sean Koch summed up Crescent Moon’s latest App Store offering when he gave this wild adventure a whirl earlier in the week. Snappy Dragons: Another game Sean really enjoyed this week was Snappy Dragons from Extensive Studios. This hot new physics-based puzzler “manages something pretty special — it captures the essence of what made Angry Birds great while distinguishing itself with exciting new elements.” High praise indeed!
