mzl.lllxnkte.175x175-75HEAVY – sword (out now, $0.99): Ashley Jackson and Monster Robot Studios (BeyondDead, Gravity Cat) return to the App Store with HEAVY – sword, a pretty terrific 2D action-platformer that’s – ahem – heavily inspired by genre classics like Super Mario World. Seriously, the nostalgia factor alone makes this one a must play game. Thanks to the generosity of the folks at Monster Robot, we’ve got three copies to give away!

678683_larger-150x150Gemini Rue (out now, $3.99): Originally launched in 2011 to much acclaim, Wadjet Eye Games’ sci-fi noir point-and-click adventure Gemini Rue finally makes its iOS debut. This enhanced edition of the game features improvements like a redesigned combat system, as well as the same gripping storyline, engrossing gameplay and gritty aesthetic that made Gemini Rue a cult classic in the first place. We’ve got one copy up for grabs!

icon100x100Mr. Crab (out now, $0.99): Mr. Crab is a beautifully presented, brilliantly fun, and addictively tricky arcade game from Illusion Labs, the folks behind top-rated titles like TouchGrind BMX and Blast-A-Way. Definitely one of the best games to hit the App Store this week. We’ll gift a copy to one very lucky winner!

icon100x100Rayman Jungle Run (out now, $2.99): As we mentioned last week, Ubisoft and Pastagames’ critically lauded and award-winning auto-runner Rayman Jungle Run was recently updated with heaps of new content. Which is a good a reason as any to include a copy of this essential game in the prize-bag, eh?
