During this Grow a Garden event, your crops can get a mutation. Make sure you familiarise yourself with the different ones available using our Grow a Garden Mutation Multiplier guide.

Grow a Garden Chocolate Rain

If you remember the Easter Event, the theme of chocolate may sound familiar! There used to be a Chocolate Sprinkler item available from the Easter Shop. When used, it would cover your crops in chocolate, giving them the chocolate mutation.

As this event has now added, anything chocolate isn’t available anymore… until now!

How To Get Chocolate Rain Weather Event

A new update introduced the Chocolate Rain weather event. Most weather events come down to RNG luck, however, this isn’t the case here.

The only way you can get the Chocolate Rain event is through a developer or admin activating it. There is no way you can make this event happen yourself, and therefore, the chances of you ever experiencing it are very slim. Unless you know an admin or happen to join a server with one in, you cannot get this weather event.

During the event, chocolate will rain from the sky and cover your fruits in chocolate. Similar to the Chocolate Sprinkler, this will give them the Chocolate Mutation.

Chocolate Mutation

If your crops have the Chocolate Mutation, they will turn a dark brown colour, as if they are covered in chocolate. Alongside this, the value increases by double the normal amount (x2). Although not the best mutation available, it does make for a nice way to get a profit when selling them. If only you could eat your crops, I can only imagine how nice a chocolate strawberry would taste.
