Grow a Garden Summer Pets – How To Obtain, Abilities, and More!

Let’s get straight into it!

Common Summer Egg Pets

All of these pets are found inside a Common Summer Egg, which you can purchase for 1,000,000 Sheckles. When placed in your garden, it takes 20 minutes to hatch.

  • Starfish
    • 50% hatch chance
    • Ability: Gains 6-7 additional XP per second.
  • Seagull
    • 25% hatch chance
    • Ability: Shovelling plants has the chance to drop the same seed. However, it doesn’t work on fruit crops.
  • Crab
    • 25% hatch chance
    • Ability: Sometimes the Crab goes into another player’s garden and pinches them, giving you some Sheckles.

Rare Summer Egg

These pets come from a Rare Summer Egg, which costs 25,000,000 and takes 4 hours to hatch.

  • Flamingo
    • 30% hatch chance
    • Ability: Every 4 minutes, it stands on one leg for 15 seconds, making nearby crops grow faster.
  • Toucan
    • 25% hatch chance
    • Ability: Makes all tropical plants within range grow bigger and increases the variant chance.
  • Sea Turtle
    • 20% hatch chance
    • Ability: Sometimes shares wisdom to a random pet in your garden, giving it bonus experience.
      • Also has an ability that will sometimes give the Wet mutation to crops.
  • Orangutan
    • 15% hatch chance
    • Ability: When you craft, there is a chance the material will not be consumed.
  • Seal
    • 10% hatch chance
    • Ability: If you sell a pet, there is a 2% chance of getting the pet back as its egg.

Paradise Egg Pets

You can purchase this egg for 50,000,000 Sheckles. It takes 6 hours and 40 minutes to hatch.

  • Ostrich
    • 40% hatch chance
    • Ability: Gives pets hatched from eggs an age bonus.
  • Peacock
    • 30% hatch chance
    • Ability: Sometimes it will fan its feathers and give all pets an ability cooldown.
  • Capybara
    • 21% hatch chance
    • Ability: All pets within range don’t lose hunger and gain 3.47 XP per second.
  • Scarlet Macaw
    • 8% hatch chance
    • Ability: Every 11:51 minutes, the Scarlet Macaw has a 15.95% chance to give nearby fruits the Verdant Mutation. This increases the value by x4.
  • Mimic Octopus
    • 1% hatch chance
    • Ability: Every 20 minutes, it copies an ability from another pet and performs it.
