Harry Potter: Wizards Unite

Harry Potter: Wizards Unite is Out Now in Australia and New Zealand in Open Beta

Harry Potter: Wizards Unite has officially entered open beta in Australia and New Zealand, following the same release cycle as Pokémon GO.

Niantic’s current hit release also soft launched in Australia and New Zealand ahead of its official release. So we can officially see this as a sign it’s nearly ready.

Harry Potter: Wizards Unite is the Latest AR Location-Based Game by Niantic

Wizards Unite sees you join friends and strangers alike across the globe as members of the Statute of Secrecy Task Force.

This new force has been set up to tackle Foundables – mischievous magical creatures, items, and locations that have no place in the Muggle world.

You’ll use the power of AR and a real world version of your local map to find these Foundables and put a stop to them.

It plays a lot like Pokémon GO in that sense, with you exploring the real world on your phone, tracking down stuff in AR.

If you’re a resident of New Zealand or Australia, you can check out Harry Potter: Wizards Unite right now in open beta. It’s available on the App Store.
