How To Ascend In Titan Regiment
If you want to ascend your character, select the unit and click on ‘Ascend’ from the bottom tab on the left-hand side. The first time you ascend a character, you will need another copy of the character you want to ascend.
So, if I want to ascend Annie, I will need another copy of Annie. You will also need four SSR units from the same Faction as that unit. Finally, you need Breakthrough Serum.
Each time you ascend, you can view the requirements and what you need. For high-rarity units and as you continue to ascend, the requirements get harder. For example, with Pieck, you need an already ascended unit alongside another copy to ascend her further.
What is Ascension?
Ascension will increase the maximum level of your character. Most units have a max level of 100, and once they reach that, you can’t upgrade them anymore without ascension. They’ll be stuck at evel 100 until you do. Their stats will also increase after ascension, making them stronger in battle.

If you plan on progressing and reaching the late stages of gameplay, then yes. When you ascend, your unit gets stronger and their max level increases, allowing you to continue upgrading and level-breaking them. As you reach the later story chapters and haven’t ascended them, you might get stuck.
