Our Hunter Era Hatsu Tier List goes over all the types of Hatsu and ranks each from best to worst! I’ll also go over what Hatsu is, and the chances of obtaining each Hatsu.

What Is Hatsu?
Before I go over each type of Hatsu and rank them, I’ll quickly explain what it is (as a huge Hunter x Hunter fan, this is a perfect excuse for me to go into detail).
In the anime, Hatsu is the ability to create your own unique Nen ability using your aura. A person’s Hatsu is special to them and will reflect their personality, aspirations, dreams, and so on! However, in Hunter Era, Hatsu is based more around the six Nen types (I’d be a conjurer!)
S-Tier
The best of the best!
- Conjuration – 10%
- Expert – 5%
A-Tier
If you can’t get S-Tier Hatsu, these are still great.
- Transfiguration – 25%
- Manipulation – 45%
B-Tier
If you’re still a beginner Hunter, these Hatsu types are great to help get you started!
- Emission – 80%
- Reinforcement – 15%
C-Tier
Not the best, not the worst. I wouldn’t rely on these.
- No Hatsu here!
D-Tier
These aren’t great, try to avoid them.
- Luckily, nothing is here! Osu!
How Do We Determine Our Rankings?
We determine our rankings based on a variety of different sources. We use our own gameplay experience and community response to decide where we place each Hatsu. If it’s not clear enough, I love Hunter x Hunter, so I’ve also used my knowledge! If you disagree with our rankings, don’t worry, I won’t go all Gon rage on you. Just… stay away from…. my Kite.
