Interloper is an awesome space dogfighting sim that sees you stepping into the cockpit of a fighting ship and blasting things to bits. Interloper was great when it first came out, and now it’s been updated with a new mode and some tweaks to make it even greater.
The new mode is called Combat Trials and sees you flying in one-on-one battles against AI controlled ships. Those ships have access to all the gear you do, so they’re a more challenging proposition than usual.
Killing the ships will get you a space-boatload of loot, and the longer your win streak the better the loot you’re going to get – and the more challenging your foes. It’s a permanent edition and another reason to jump into the game daily.
Alongside the new mode, there are plenty of tweaks to the game as well. There’s new graphics in the cockpit UI, a Combat Trial wireframe environment, and your inventory has been increased form 60 to 400. That’s a lot of inventory.
