We’ll now crack on with the guide at hand. We’ll break this article down into a few different sub-sections…
Introduction
Marble Master is relatively simple. You’re tasked with clearing levels by matching marbles, based on the marble’s colour. Once your marbles are matched with three or higher, the marbles will break down, bringing you closer to clearing the level.
The threat of the game comes from the marbels reaching the end of their trail. Once they get there, it’s game over for you!
Take Your Time
When first starting the game, you might think you can cheat the system by smashing as many marbles as possible at random into the marble trail. On paper this might seem tempting, but it generally doesn’t work. In fact, you’re more likely to increase the risk of the marble trail reaching the end of the line, making you lose the game.
We recommend that you scan carefully for matches before shooting your marbles at the trail. This way, you’ll be able to take more control over the trail, and it’ll be less likely for the trail to reach it’s destination.
Aim For Combos
An underrated skill in Marble Master is being able to pick out combos. What we mean by this is being able to see, from a distance, how removing certain segments of marbles will have a long term impact on the overall trail.
Relying on combos isn’t easy because the chances of them coming along is difficult, but if you’re able to scan for them, then we highly recommend doing it. They can get you out of tight situations, especially if the trail is almost at it’s end!
Energy Bombs
If you didn’t notice, with each marble match you achieve, you’ll add to the energy ball in the bottom left of the screen. Once this ball reaches max capacity, you’ll be able to tap it to select an energy bomb. It turns your marble into a sort of super-charged marble, and it can destroy big chunks of the trail when fired! It will even destroy marbles that don’t match.
These can act as a bit of a game-changer if you ever find yourself in a sticky situation, so make sure you keep an eye on the ball!
Be Prepared
You can prepare yourself for what marble colour is coming next by looking at the turret in the middle of the screen. On the turret’s forehead, it will display the colour of which marble is coming after the one you’ve currently got. We recommend that you make a mental note of this, so you can start preparing for the next shot!
