Remember what Nick Fury once said, about bringing together a group of remarkable people to form his own team of superheroes? Well, Marvel Contest of Champions just dropped an update doing something similar. Don’t we love seeing our favourite superheroes battling evil together? And the more, the better. The latest update will offer gamers new playable heroes. Which ones are they? Find out below.
More About Marvel Contest of Champions
The F2P action game has been around since 2014 and ranks at number 29 in the adventure genre in the App Store. The game is similar to DC Comics-inspired ‘Injustice: Gods Among Us’ (which preceded MCOC by a year). As a Summoner, your job is to assemble a team of champions, that is, a team of Marvel heroes and villains. You’ll start with two 1-star characters and keep unlocking and upgrading as you progress into the game.
You get to play with over 260 playable characters and more than 70 non-playable characters. Oh, and you get to explore the marvellous locations of Marvel Universe! From the Avengers Tower and Wakanda to Asgard and Oscorp, the diverse locations make the gameplay quite fun. Here’s the game on the App Store if you haven’t played it yet.
The New Champions
Marvel just released a new movie this month, The Marvels, which centres around Captain Marvel, Ms Marvel and Photon. Following the release of the movie, the MCoC update is introducing these three superheroes as the latest champions.
You can add Ms Marvel to your team for free and complete a few solo objectives with her to unlock the other two. And once you do, you get your own team of The Marvels! So, go ahead and gear up to battle. Also, do check out our other story on Eroica, which is shutting down soon.
