Nintendo officially announced this weekend that Super Mario Run is set to get its biggest update yet on September 29th. The fresh content coming to the game then includes: a new world, mode, playable character (Princess Daisy!), and more. Playdead’s ‘Inside’ Is Coming to iOS and Nintendo Switch

Playdead’s Inside, the highly acclaimed spiritual successor to Limbo, is on its way to iOS and Nintendo Switch in the near future, according to a scoop by Japanese gaming site Famitsu. Inside has received a glowing response and rave reviews on every other platform it’s been released for, so this truly is exciting news. There’s no solid launch date for the iOS version of the game yet, but we’ll be sure to keep you posted.

The New App Store Is Finally Here!

The arrival of iOS 11 has brought with it many new features, including a completely rethought and redesigned App Store, which now boasts a blog-like stream of stories about interesting apps, games and developers. The new App Store looks absolutely fantastic and the increased focus on editorial content is welcome, but here’s hoping it doesn’t render (already struggling) sites like iFanzine obsolete!

Halfbrick Tease Upcoming AR Thriller ‘Shadows Remain’

Halfbrick Studios, the creators of beloved iOS classics Fruit Ninja and Jetpack Joyride, announced a new game this week! It goes by the name Shadows Remain, and it’s a unique hidden object thriller that makes use of iOS 11’s augmented reality capabilities to “blur the line between reality and entertainment.” According to the link below, the game’s first episode will hit the App Store this October 13th.
