    Stardash Review

    Sean Koch·September 23, 2011
Aha, I think I've cracked the recipe OrangePixel used for creating "Stardash." It goes something like this. Step 1: start with "Super Mario Bros." Step 2: take away everything that helped Mario survive, and see how the player does. Needless to say, you'll want to go into this platformer with a tough-as-nails attitude!

    iWordJuggle Review

    Ruan Shiels·September 22, 2011
Adopting a less is more approach to the word game genre, Roland Leth’s iWordJuggle eschews fancy schmancy graphics, forced time limits, and other unnecessary bells and whistles in favor of a polished, sophisticated aesthetic and gimmick-free gameplay. Is it mind-blowingly exciting? Well, no, but that’s sort of the point...

Hands-On Preview: Don’t Run With a Plasma Sword

    Sean Koch·September 22, 2011
Hot on the heels of FatCow Games' "Idyllic," XperimentalZ Games is sprinting toward the finish line of yet another project that injects some depth into the side-scrolling genre. Oh, did we mention this one has lightsabers? Naturally we sought a hands-on preview when we found out that little detail!

    Idyllic Review

    Sean Koch·September 22, 2011
It's such a breath of fresh air to find an infinite side-scroller that doesn't feel like "Robot Unicorn Attack" or "Canabalt" all over again! But do the developers meet their stated goal of unifying casual and hardcore appeal, or fall just short of it?

    Wildlings Review

    Sean Koch·September 21, 2011
"Wildlings" is what would happen if the Castle Defense genre ran smack dab into one of those Discovery Channel documentaries that show predators trying to snatch helpless little'uns from their nests.

    Burn the Rope: Worlds Review

    Sean Koch·September 20, 2011
Just about the only thing you can hold against "Burn the Rope: Worlds" is that it's so similar to the initial title -- but when the gameplay formula is this good, that's no bad thing. The new endless mode is a nice little treat, but over all this one's best enjoyed by franchise veterans who could go for what is essentially a gigantic level expansion pack, and also by any action puzzle fans who haven't experienced the original yet.

    Run Fox Run Review

    Ruan Shiels·September 19, 2011
I feel it’s only right to begin this review by warning folks that Run Fox Run pushes the addiction-O-Meter way, way off the scale, so if you’ve got something important you need to get done today, you may want to think twice about giving this one a download!

    Hero’s Way Review

    Sean Koch·September 19, 2011
With a unique combat system, a luscious presentation and plenty of content to back it up, I still find it hard to believe "Hero's Way" is free to play. Except in one respect -- the developer definitely needs to re-evaluate the game's grindfest approach to challenge!

    Rushing Ninjas Review

    Sean Koch·September 19, 2011
A neat and cleanly built running game that transforms the endless side-scrolling runner into an infinitely long-lived but stationary obstacle course. Fans of infinite games will find a lot to love in "Rushing Ninjas," but don't go into it expecting much depth or gameplay that considerably evolves over time.
