    Secret of Mana In-Depth Review

    Ruan Shiels·December 23, 2010
Time to party like it's 1993! This golden oldie has suffered a bit from the porting process in terms of user interface, but that's nothing iOS Action RPG fans haven't taken in stride already. Otherwise it's well worth checking into for its much-beloved party system and all-around excellent game design.

    Cause of Death Review

    Ruan Shiels·December 21, 2010
There's no real mystery as to why iGamers everywhere aren't shouting about this expertly crafted interactive novel from the rooftops. The long and short of it is Cause of Death simply had the poor luck of being released on one of the App Store's busiest ever weeks alongside a staggering array of established franchises and much-hyped games. It's a shame though, because this is easily one of most interesting and original titles I've played/read all month.

    Shadow Guardian Review

    Ruan Shiels·December 20, 2010
Gameloft are best known for putting their own spin on big name console games and bringing them to iOS. The results are usually either hit or miss. Lately, though they've been on a roll, with one spectacular title after another. While Shadow Guardian caught everyone unawares given the fact it was released so soon after it was announced, the core concept of the game came as no surprise - it's basically Naughty Dog's Uncharted for iPhone...

    My Brute Review

    Ruan Shiels·December 20, 2010
Many an iOS developer has struggled with implementing a user interface that remains reliable in the thick of in-game action. My Brute shows that there's one surefire way around this dilemma -- though it's probably not quite what players were envisioning. The game sure looks gorgeous though!

    Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 Review

    Ruan Shiels·December 19, 2010
With its roster of outlandish psychopaths, gallons of blood and gore and OTT, incredibly graphic "fatalities", Mortal Kombat was, in part, responsible for the creation of the ERSB and remains the undisputed king of 90s video game nasties. But how does this rebooted and graphically enhanced iPhone iteration square up to impressive showing of fighting games already available for the format?.

Aralon: Sword and Shadow HD In-depth Review

    Ruan Shiels·December 17, 2010
Aralon: Sword and Shadow most likely needs no introduction to any serious iOS gamer given the staggering level of pre-release hype and anticipation. If you know nothing of this title; welcome back from your stay in that deep dark cave, here's what you missed...

    Dead Rising Mobile Review

    Ruan Shiels·December 17, 2010
Dead Rising should ring a bell with anyone even remotely interested in gaming. An over-the-top actioner set amid a zombie apocalypse, the game was a huge hit on Xbox and has a legion of fans. Unfortunately the iPhone version of Dead Rising is likely to be greeted with an altogether less enthusiastic response.

    Infinity Blade In-Depth Review

    Ruan Shiels·December 14, 2010
What is it called when stellar graphics meet beautiful hardware and are infused with sleek mechanics and just a pinch of the surreal? An epic game would be the general answer. My answer - Infinity Blade. Announced at the Apple keynote, "Project Sword", captured our imaginations, not just with game-play or graphics, although it did just that, but especially with what was under the hood...

    Ruan Shiels·December 14, 2010
Bummed out that Infinity Blade doesn't work on your Second Gen iDevice? Never fear, Gamevil has proven that there's still some real gems you can snatch up! Most famous for its overhead Action RPG series Zenonia, Gamevil has returned with a title that combines heavy platforming and traditional RPG mechanics to wonderful effect.
