I'd imagine I'm not the only person getting more than a little tired of developers sticking the word doodle in their games' titles in a transparent attempt at cozying up to the chart-topping hit Doodle Jump. So I guess I'd better start this review by saying FunTribe's Doodle Lab 101 isn't just another game jumping on that particular buzzword-bandwagon. On the contrary in fact, it's a surprisingly innovative twist on a path drawing/physics puzzler, based around a pretty neat drawing mechanic.

Originally released on the PSP, Aqua Panic is a terrific (and addictively aggravating) puzzler that will have you using a variety of water-manipulating tools to guide a school of fish to safety. If you ever were a fan of Lemmings, you will love Aqua Panic.

MemMatch is a charmingly simple little app that's perfect for the casual gamer. While it's hardly likely to set the world on fire, this title's modern twist on the classic memory/concentration card game, pick-up-and-play usability and polished presention does impress.

Such is the god-awful state of reality TV and game shows these days, that the nightmare scenario brought to vivid life by id Software's newest shoot-'em-up RAGE Mobile - tooled-up contestants battling killer mutants for the viewing pleasure of bloodthirsty coach potatoes - probably isn't as far-fetched as one might like to imagine.

Beating Rockstar to the punch, Gameloft's fully 3D Grand Theft Auto-esque Gangstar: West Coast Hustle was undoubtedly one of the most ambitious titles yet attempted on iPhone when it dropped back in 2009. This eagerly anticipated sequel transplants the illicit action to the sun-kissed streets and swamps of Miami, throws plenty of shiny new toys into the sandbox, and drafts in one the key writers of HBO's The Wire to up the script's grittiness, but has it lost its edge?

Galaxy on Fire 2 In-Depth Review

You know how everyone's been clamoring for a sci-fi RPG lately? Fish Labs has an answer for that. While there's nary a hit point to be found in Galaxy on Fire 2, its superbly delivered story and characterization, incredible depth, and overall genre-defying appeal should fit the bill for anyone interested in seeing what happens when roleplaying and adventure are mixed with a little 3D space action.
