    Danger Express Review

    Ruan Shiels·July 5, 2010
We've all heard the adage "Don't judge a book by its cover," right? Well it most definitely applies to Won-O-Soft's Danger Express - Surviving the Alien Infestation, a game that at first glance appears to be just another dual-stick shooter attempting to hitch a ride on the coattails of Minigore et al's success. It's not.

    Pirate’s Treasure Review

    Ruan Shiels·July 1, 2010
Set on Treasure Island, this, the latest Chillingo published dual-stick shoot 'em up, puts you in the boots of a salty old sea dog and pits you against hordes of mutant creepy crawlies, zombies, mummies, the Grim Reaper, and, er, a demonic heifer.

Mystery of the Crystal Portal Review

    Ruan Shiels·July 1, 2010
G5 Entertainment serves up a hearty helping of "find the hidden object." Though wrapped in an unquestionably beautiful presentation, its core substance will sate only those who are already steeped in the genre.

    Tunnel Shoot Review

    Ruan Shiels·June 29, 2010
Tunnel Shoot at first glance may seem like a hardcore, dozens of levels 3D tunnel shoot-em-up with big bosses, a large variety of enemies, many levels, powerups, etc., but instead you'll find a game that strives to be addicting as opposed to hardcore

    ‘Pig Jump’ Review

    Ruan Shiels·June 28, 2010
Pig Jump is yet another vertical platformer to hit the App Store, very similar to Doodle Jump and its multitude of knock-offs, imitators, and clones. The good news is, there's enough substance here to raise Pig Jump slightly above imitator status...

    Pix’n Love Rush Review

    Ruan Shiels·June 27, 2010
Bulkypix team up with Pastagames and travel back to a time when arcades everywhere were packed to the rafters and reverberated with the Ptchoo-ptchoo-Boom! of Space Invaders being blasted to smithereens. The result? An infinitely addictive jaunt down video gaming memory lane...

    Small Space Review

    Ruan Shiels·June 25, 2010
Small Space by rocket5studios is a simple yet charming game with an interesting approach that really deserves some credit. Even if the entire premise of the gameplay is a bit shallow, that's not necessarily a bad thing here. It's all about risk versus reward in a seamless "pick up and play" kind of way. This is something not often seen in arcade games...

    Kick’n’Mix Review

    Ruan Shiels·June 24, 2010
Kick'n'Mix is a challenging soccer themed jigsaw puzzle game currently available in the App Store for just $2.99. At such a steep price of admission (by App Store standards), one would expect the game to come complete with polished menus, content and gameplay.
