Sure they all look cool, but which is the best? My Project XL Sharingan Tier List ranks each of these elite eyes from best to worst. Some Sharingans offer stat buffs, whilst others come fully equipped with abilities, so be sure to stick around to learn more about them!
Sharingans offer the user various abilities depending on the contact lens. The Naruto universe inspires these eye cosmetics, and each specialisation has a unique buff for the player to enjoy. But these specs aren’t created equal, with some having more of an edge over others.

Project XL Sharingan Tier List
Created with a lot of research, personal experience, player feedback and a mix of general game consensus, this tier promises hard effort. That said, you still may not agree with my rankings which is OK! I encourage you to bookmark this page and check back in the future as my rankings shift due to updates that buff and nerf the Sharingans.
S-Tier
GOATED, OP, BUSTED, BROKEN. You know the works. This tier is for the best of the best Sharingans. These Specs are elite and offer huge versatility, strength and unique buffs.
- Madara’s Mangekyo Sharingan v2 – (Ability) Gain 2x DMG for 10 seconds with a 30 second cooldown
- Obito’s Mangekyo Sharingan v2 – (Ability) Cast a Kamui in place of the user’s cursor which deals heavy DMG and auto-kills anyone below 40% HP.
- Itachi’s Mangekyou Sharingan v1 (Ability) – Unleash a huge eruption of flames which engulfs anyone hit by the explosion, dealing 30-second Fire DMG and negates all healing whilst on fire.
- Indra’s Mangekyo Sharingan v1 (Ability) – Places a Genjutsu onto foes which forces them to stab and stun themselves dealing 50% more DMG and 100% Crit Chance per player in the Genjutsu
A-Tier
Good, just not the best. I still like these Specs, and I’d be happy to keep any of them long-term if I couldn’t get my hands on any in the higher tier.
- Madara’s Mangekyo Sharingan v1 (Ability) – 100% Crit and Dodge chance plus a major speed boost and halved cooldown time.
- Sasuke’s Mangekyo Sharingan v2 (Ability) – Cast a purple ribcage which acts as a shield relative to the caster’s HP
- Izuna’s Mangekyo Sharingan v1 (Ability) – Places a Genjutsu onto foes causing a stun for 1 second and ineffective DMG for 5 seconds following
B-Tier
Mid-average, just about okay. These Specs are middle-range.
- Obito’s Mangekyo Sharingan v1 (Ability) – Activate your Kamui becoming untouchable to opponents for 3 seconds
- Itachi’s Mangekyou Sharingan v2 (Ability) – Create a red ribcage which negates all status effects
C-Tier
Weaker than most, but offer a few niche uses which could be beneficial. Overall not strong.
- Three Tomoe Sharingan (Passive) – Crit, Speed and Dodge boost
- Two Tomoe Sharingan (Passive) – Crit and Speed Boost
D-Tier
Well, at least they look cool.
