When you’re playing, you’ll notice the time of day changes, just like real life! However, with this comes the weather changing, too. Each type of weather comes with different buffs. Depending on the weather that is active during battle can change how it plays out, so it’s important to know what each one does so you can be prepared.

Weather Buffs

Let’s see what each type of weather does, including all of the buffs and debuffs it provides.

Rain

  • Lightning induction probability: +5%
  • Ignition duration: -1 second

Heavy Rain

  • ‎Lightning induction probability: +10%
  • Ignition duration: -2 seconds

Rainstorm

  • ‎Lightning induction probability: +15%
  • Ignition duration: -3 seconds

Snow

  • ‎Freeze duration: +1 second
  • Lightning triggering probability: -3%

Heavy Snow

  • ‎Freeze duration: +2 seconds
  • Lightning triggering probability: -6%

Blizzard

  • Freeze duration: +3 seconds
  • Lightning triggering probability: -9%

Hot

  • ‎Ignite duration: +3 seconds
  • Freeze duration: -3 seconds

Heat

  • ‎Ignition duration: +1 second
  • Freeze duration: -1 second

Extreme Heat

  • Ignite duration: +2 seconds
  • Freeze duration: -2 seconds

As the weather can change and come with different buffs, it makes you plan ahead and be more strategic when it comes to battle. Weather comes with boosts, which can be great.
