Today we’ve got news of not just one, but two brilliant Square Enix JRPGs going on sale on the App Store. There’s $13 worth of savings waiting for you if you decide to take the plunge and pick them both up, which is quite a lot of savings.
First up we’ve got the excellent SaGa Frontier Remastered. It’s a retooling of a classic game from 1998. It’s got polished graphics, extra features and a whole new character for you to play as. Which is pretty good.
There are different heroes with different scenarios to play through, loads of strategic battles to jump into, and an updated UI that makes everything play that little bit better on touchscreen. Then we’vegot Collection of SaGa Final Fantasy Legend, which has a very long name. It’s not one game, it’s three. These are tweaked ports of some super old-school Game Boy RPGs that were the first entries in the SaGa series.
There are various tweaks and UI changes that make the games perfect for modern mobile play, and getting three games in a bundle is a pretty darn good deal.
