Exos Heroes, the absolutely gorgeous open-world fantasy from LINE Games, is just about to enter its second season via its latest content update.
The new season, entitled The North Wind, will add new story episodes, heroes, and systems. Plus, LINE Games is holding a handful of events to celebrate the beginning of this new chapter.
The setting for the new content is Brunn, a kingdom ruled by a young matriarch called Neomi who, along with her faithful retainers Dorka and Kylock, is locked in a bitter conflict with her advisor Mahar.
Meanwhile, protagonist Zeon has been recovering from his battle with Shufraken at the end of the last season. After being rescued by his former mentor Schmid, a master treasure hunter, and nursed back to health by Jinai, Zeon jumps into the fray.
And the fray has got even more exciting thanks to a couple of new hero-enhancing systems. Exos Heroes now contains a new Signature Force system, which lets you use a Fated Hero from a particular nation as material for boosting the abilities and synergies of all heroes of that nationality. Plus, the new Awaken Hero system gives your heroes a further boost.
It’s a massive update, and LINE Games is celebrating with a couple of massive events. The “Gift for 7 Days” events lets you claim a bunch of rewards every day for seven days, at the end of which you’ll also receive a Fated Hero Neomi.
If you enhance Neomi from five to six stars during the event period, which runs from the 3rd to the 24h of September, you’ll receive yet more goodies.
A second event will give you the chance to claim a massive 77 free pulls – 11 a day for seven days – between the 3rd of September and the 1st of October.
