Checkmate! Jokes aside, the Seven Knights Rebirth 7k Chess event doesn’t require you to play a game of chess, but it can be confusing. We’ll break it down and explain what this game mechanic is and how it works.

Seven Knights Rebirth 7k Chess
7k Chess is a new event available, which you can access by selecting ‘Workshop’ from the main menu and then clicking ‘7k Chess’. Once you do this, a chessboard will appear on your screen. Don’t worry, you aren’t playing chess. Instead, it’s a way for you to get your hands on a hero you want.
How Does It Work?
Every month, the chessboard will reset. You can select one character from the Wish List who you ‘wish’ to obtain, and they will appear on the chessboard. There will also be other characters on the chessboard, for example, those who are a higher rarity,
When you select a character, they will appear on the board. However, you need to purchase each tile. Think of it as a summon. Of course, you can’t see which character is beneath your tile. You may get lucky and only need to purchase a few tiles before you get your wishlist character. One purchase for a tile is a ’round’, and you can see the cost below:

- x50,000 Gold
- 2nd Round
- x50 Ruby
- 3rd Round
- x100 Ruby
- 4th – 80th Round
- x150 Ruby
Which Character Should I Choose?
If you click on ‘Change Wish List’ at the top of your screen, you will see a list of all the heroes available, as well as their rarity, skills, passives, and a description of the hero. The character you should aim to get is completely down to you and what you want out of gameplay. You can check out our tier list ranked above to find out who we think are the meta heroes available.
