Shrimp Game Dalgona Guide
Dalgona is one of the mini-games available in Shrimp Game, and it tends to be the second one you encounter.
How To Play Dalgona
In Dalgona, you receive a random shape and must carefully cut out its outline using a thin needle. Sounds simple, right? Well… not really.
You have a set time limit, and if you aren’t finished by the deadline, you’ll be eliminated. If someone gets eliminated, they’ll be shot, and the noise of the gun can also be a distraction!
Arguably the trickiest part of the game is not knowing which shape you will get. Unlike in Squid Game, you don’t get a choice. When the game begins, there will be four plain circles, and tapping one will reveal the shape you get. In my opinion, a circle or triangle is the easiest, a star is the middle, and an umbrella is the hardest.
Tips To Win
The most important thing is to keep calm, as the gunshots, timer, and players possibly falling on you after elimination makes for a huge distraction. If the gunshots are too much of an issue, you can try turning the volume down in your game.
If you have a shape with many corners, such as the umbrella or star, make sure you’re extra careful. This is where it tends to break the most. Take things slow! Speaking of cracks, don’t worry too much if your shape starts to get crack lines. This doesn’t necessarily mean you’re about to lose.
Shrimp Game is available to play on both keyboard and touchscreen. Having played on both, there isn’t a huge difference in difficulty in playing Dalgona. However, I did find it slightly easier to control what I was doing whilst playing on PC and using a mouse.
