In a hundred days, on July 1st, players around the world are finally going to be able to get their hands on SINoALICE, the confusingly named fantasy JRPG. Pokelabo has taken over publishing duties from Nexon, and has announced a whole bunch of pre-registration rewards and a 100 day countdown program as well.
Not heard of SINoALICE, well it’s a collaboration between Pokelabo and Square Enix, with a story from the brain of NiER and Drakengard alumni Yoko Taro. It’s fair to say that there’s some pedigree behind the game then, and anyone with a hankering for some portable JRPG action should definitely be getting a bit excited.
One Hundred Days Left
In the lead-up to the game’s release, there are plenty of ways for you to get involved. For one thing you can like, share and interact with the game’s social media accounts. The first mission involves getting 30,000 of these (don’t worry, you don’t have to do them all yourself), with the reward being 100,000 in-game gold coins.
There’ll be more missions as we get closer to the release of the game, so checking out the game’s official website by clicking here is a good idea. You can also register your interest in the game there, and there are other rewards to unlock depending on how many people get signed up.
If that wasn’t enough, there’s also a couple of NiER tie-ins coming up in the game to get you excited. The NiER: Automata event lets you play alongside characters from Automata in a scenario written by Yoko Taro, The NiER Replicant event will be similar, with characters from Replicant appearing, although the scenario there is just guided by Taro, rather than written by him.
