What Each Tier Means

If you aren’t familiar with tiers, don’t worry. I’ll go through each one below and explain what they mean.

S- Weapons in this tier are the best available. Using these is a sure-fire way to defeat any enemy who would dare to face you. Although obtaining these weapons may take some time, the grind to get it is well worth it.

A- The perfect backup choice. Despite lacking some of the power that would put it in the S-Tier, these weapons will tide you over until you get those ranked above.

B- Nestled into the middle are the B-Tier weapons. These aren’t a bad option, but they are on the weaker side of things. If you plan to progress further into gameplay, you’ll need to get your hands on higher-ranked weapons ASAP.

C- Good for beginners, but they won’t get you far. Weapons in this tier are good for one of the first weapons you obtain. However, once you start to come across tougher enemies, you will need a better weapon. Overall, these are weak, and you can do a lot better.

D- The weakest weapons available. Having something equipped is better than nothing, but these weapons don’t provide much.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I get weapons?

Most weapons are available from drops, either dropped by dungeons or by bosses. However, it differs for each weapon.

What if I disagree with the rankings?

That’s okay! Everyone has different gameplay preferences, and you need to use the weapon that is best for you. You can use this tier list as a guideline to help you decide which you should use.

Will there be more weapons?

I don’t know for sure, but as Sorcerer Ascent is still a new game, it’s likely the developers will add more weapons in future updates. If this happens, I’ll update this post, so make sure you check back.
