Wondering what does what? This guide talks you through all of the Spiked Game Mechanics, so you can become the best player on the pitch!
You can play Spiked on Roblox. We also have a Spiked Weapons Tier List that ranks each from best to worst.
Spiked Game Mechanics Guide
Let’s go into each game mechanic and what they do!
Hitting
Hold M1 whilst in the air to charge your hit. Once you let go, you will hit the ball in the direction you are currently facing.
Setting
To set the ball to another player, press F. Like hitting, you will set the ball in the direction your camera is facing.
Blocking
If you want to block the ball, hold down M2 while you’re in the air. If a ball touches you whilst you are blocking, the ball will be sent back to the opposing team’s side of the pitch.
Receiving
Before you receive, you must be in a bump stance, which you can do by holding M2 whilst grounded. Then, charge your M1 to the max and let go of it once fully charged. The ball will go in the direction you are facing.
If the camera is positioned straight ahead, the receive will travel further, whereas if the camera is up or down, the ball will travel close.
Wiping
Wiping the ball is when you spike the ball at the top of the opposing blocker’s hands. It’s the same as spiking, but you need to position the camera to the top of their hands.
Feinting
Start by charging a hit, and then click M2. The hit will become a feint, which makes the ball go above the opposing player’s head and quickly fall to the ground.
Serving
There are two types of serves:
- Jump Serve
- Throw the ball into the air whilst in a serve then jump to spike it.
- Floater Serve
- Toss the ball in a serve by holding down M2 and then spike it. The ball will curve in a random direction.
Vaulting
This game mechanic allows players to get to areas outside of the ball faster. It’s a great way to reach bad receives or wiped balls before the ball hits the ground.
