If you’ve been looking for the Splatoon 3 weapon tier list, then your search ends here. Splatoon 3 is a third-person shooter video game developed and published by Nintendo. Like its predecessors in the Splatoon series, the game consists of online multiplayer alongside a story-driven single-player mode. Similar to other shooting titles, the game has a vast collection of weapons.
However, not all the weapons are the best for the loadout, which is why you should equip the strongest ones in the beginning. If you’re a beginner, you may have a hard time figuring out the best weapons. With that in mind, we have prepared the Splatoon 3 weapons tier list, ranking all the weapons from best to worst.
It goes without saying that the above list reflects the author’s opinions. While we recommend picking the S-tier weapons, you are urged to use the ones you are comfortable with. This allows you to explore new options and master every weapon in Splatoon 3.
How Many Weapons Are There In Splatoon 3?
The game was released globally in 2022 and has a pool of over 10 weapons at the time of writing this article. So there’s no shortage of units for your dream loadout. It’s worth noting that the list of weapons is expected to evolve with the release of new updates,
The tier list we’ve prepared above is classified into the following five divisions:
S Tier List
These are the most powerful and beloved weapons of the game. Highly advise pulling these weapons as they boast the best abilities, strengths, and skills in the game.
Splatoon 3 Weapons A Tier List
They are usually powerful weapons in the game, which can easily outperform many other units. However, they are not suitable as S-tier weapons in terms of overall skills.
B Tier List
They are regarded as the “above average” weapons who often support the team and watch their back.
Splatoon 3 Weapons C Tier List
They are weapons with a serious lack of skills and abilities. Therefore, they can’t compete with most units.
D Tier List
These are the worst units of the game and the ones you should avoid picking up. These weapons are incapable of performing well on the field.
How Do You Unlock Weapons in Splatoon 3?
Unlocking Splatoon 3 weapons is fairly easy. All you need to do is reach at least Level 2 before purchasing or unlocking any weapons from the Knights Shop, which can be done by playing the game’s Online PvP Mode. After obtaining Level 2, you will only be able to unlock a few weapons but can test all of them out.
We recommend pulling out S-tier characters for a solid start. They are the best characters in the game and significantly increase your winning odds. If you fail to summon any S-tier character, log out from the game and then delete the game’s data to repeat the reroll process.
