I know the above video is only tangentially related to iOS gaming, but it certainly brightened up my Monday, and maybe it’ll do the same for you.
Through a series of stop motion recreations, the video pays homage to (and pokes good-natured fun at) some of the most iconic and well-known video games of all time: Pac-Man, Donkey Kong, Sonic the Hedgehog, Flappy Bird, and more. It’s the work of YouTuber MysteryGuitarMan, who used nothing but stock images and footage from Pond5 to put together his hilariously quirky cutout-style animations.
Having seen how good it looks, I’d be all over a real, playable game that used a similar animation technique.
