Check out a new teaser trailer for EA and Firemonkey's upcoming "Need for Speed No Limits"...
Got those Twitter, Facebook and Google+ accounts locked, loaded, and ready for action, folks?
Spring may be the season when love is in the air, but Fall is the time for iOS sales. So let's see those leaves fall and celebrate Labor Day, baby! So many sales are taking place on the App Store it's not even funny, making this the biggest iFriday Roundup yet. Be sure to check the second page for updates and news, as well as a writing contest from SEGA of America!
The latest Transformers movie's huge box office haul proved once again that the franchise is utterly critic proof. The same is most likely true of this tie-in game courtesy of Electronic Arts, and despite its shortcomings anyone with a soft spot for the Autobots will get a kick out of taking control of Optimus Prime and Bumblebee to do battle with hordes of nasty Decepticons.
You honestly didn't think iFanzine would let something as epic as Dead Space landing on iOS pass without celebrating somehow, did you? Of course you didn't. Courtesy of the kind folks at EA Games, we've got not one, not two, but three codes for the iPhone/iPod Touch version of this 5 star masterpiece to give away. I know, out of this world, right?
EA's Dead Space, not only one of the best looking and best made games yet to grace iOS but also the outright scariest, is likely to have you squirming anxiously, jumping like a jack rabbit and shrieking in terror, as developers IronMonkey Studios expertly meld psychological horror with grisly, high-octane action to absolutely nerve-shredding effect.
The seemingly never-ending deluge of big name games onto iOS continues with Battlefield Bad Company 2 from EA Mobile. This is a surprisingly faithful mobile adaptation of the acclaimed PS3 and Xbox 360 First-person shooter, replete with the intense action, off-kilter humor, vehicular carnage and multiplayer deathmatches that title is known for.
There's no real mystery as to why iGamers everywhere aren't shouting about this expertly crafted interactive novel from the rooftops. The long and short of it is Cause of Death simply had the poor luck of being released on one of the App Store's busiest ever weeks alongside a staggering array of established franchises and much-hyped games. It's a shame though, because this is easily one of most interesting and original titles I've played/read all month.
We first heard tell of Reckless Racing a good ways back. The game instantly grabbed iPhone gamers' attention thanks to its gorgeous graphics, an old school arcade-y perspective, and the promise of plenty of rubber burning action set deep down South. And gosh darn it if Pixelbite Games haven't come good on the potential for over-the-top fun inherent in the title's hillbillies race the heck outta hot rods premise...
