There’s a new update to last-ten-minutes-of-a-sci-fi-show-’em-up, The Captain Is Dead. It adds new crew members and a bunch of new tweaks and rule-changes to keep things exciting. And to celebrate, you can save 40% on the game right now as well.
The new characters are The Janitor, portrayed by Jon St. John – the voice of Duke Nukem – and the First Officer, who’s a lot like Spock. Both add new options to the digital version of the board game, and a few laughs as well.
The maximum crew size has been increase to seven from five, and there are other tweaks to add some extra entertainment to the experience. Want to hear the Janitor saying some funny stuff? Here’s a video.
The new update also adds online leaderboards, so you can compare your scores with other players and have a good old brag about it. There’s a new HUD and an eco-mode that uses less battery.
