If you’re anything like me, you love exploring the mines and collecting various ores. You can do exactly this in The Forge, but you’ll need a good pickaxe to help you break the rocks.   • S-Tier: Arcane Pickaxe, Gold Pickaxe
  • A-Tier: Stonewake’s Pickaxe
  • B-Tier: Iron Pickaxe
  • C-Tier: Bronze Pickaxe
  • D-Tier: Stone Pickaxe

What Do Our Tiers Mean?

S- The best of the best! You’ll be discovering rare ores in no time and breaking rocks with ease. These pickaxes have great stats, so make sure to use them.

A- If you’re waiting to save up to purchase those in the S-tier, or you don’t want to commit yet, these are great options to tide you over. Don’t be put off by the lower ranking.

B- Nestled into the average are the B-tier. They come with solid stats to improve your mining experience, but there is better out there.

C- C-tier pickaxes aren’t terrible, but they’re nothing special either. I suggest saving up and waiting to purchase ones that are ranked higher instead of these.

D- These aren’t great and are likely the first ones you will obtain. Make sure to get a better one ASAP.

    • You use these if you want to mine rocks.
  • What stats come with a pickaxe?
    • Pickaxes have mining power and a luck boost. Mining power is how much damage a pickaxe deals. With luck, it allows you to obtain higher rarity ores.
  • Will more pickaxes be added?
    • It’s possible that developers will add more pickaxes in future updates, but we don’t know for sure yet.
  • How do you get a pickaxe?
    • You obtain most pickaxes by purchasing them from Miner Fred’s Pickaxe Shop. But you get the Stonewake’s Pickaxe from the Inner Cave.
