Ubisoft has Revealed That it’s Working on Rainbow Six Mobile

It’s a pretty good time to be alive if you’re a fan of massive FPS franchises coming to mobile. With Call of Duty already there and Apex Legends Mobile set to launch in the coming months, you’re almost spoiled for choice. And now Ubisoft has revealed it’s bringing Rainbow Six to mobile as well.

The new game is called Rainbow Six Mobile, and while it shares some of its DNA with the excellent Rainbow Six: Siege, it’s been built from the ground up for mobile devices. Rainbow Six Mobile will feature 5v5 battles, with the two teams taking on the role of attackers or defenders.

Attackers are trying to save hostages, defuse traps and breach doors. Defenders are trying to fortify their positions and protect what they’ve taken. Players on both sides will have an array of weaponry to choose from as well.

Apparently Rainbow Six Mobile has been in development for three years already, and the dev team is set to move towards a testing phase in the not-too-distant future. You can find out more about that in a blog post by clicking right here.

If you’re interested in getting your hands on the game sooner than some, there’s a pre-registration campaign up and running on the official Rainbow Six Mobile website. You can find out more about that by clicking here.
